Vanias Apergis

Biography

Vanias Apergis is an Athens-based composer and music producer working across film, documentary, theatre, video games, television and advertising. His work includes music for Darkfall Online and screen projects such as Searching for Andreas: Political Leadership in Times of Crisis, #ThisIsACoup and Joan Zhonga’s animated short EthnoPhobia. As Composer in Residence of Persona Theatre Company, he has composed for productions including Troy Too, Enter Hamlet and Phaedra I. His interest in music synthesis and psychoacoustics informs his approach to composition and the relationship between sound, image and performance. He is the founder of yellowgroove, bringing together his work in composition, music production and publishing.
